he GSX was bought in Winnipeg ,Manitoba in 1994.We drove it back to Thunder Bay ( 500mis )..Contacted the original owner. She bought the car in Edmonton,Alberta. She lived in Winnipeg ,Her husband worked in the oil fields in Alberta, She drove back and forth from Winnipeg to Edmonton to see her husband on his days off. This is why she purchased the car new.As you see in the pics when it was green, the car needed alot of work. We contacted Poston Enterprises in Alabama , they dealt in restoring Buicks, I don"t know if they are they are still around. We ordered quarter-panels for both sides of the car for the rear, two new front fenders , GSX decals, new grille , grille name plate, bumpers were sent back to Winnipeg to get re-chromed..The car was sent to a professional restorer , he did all the work, and a complete new trunk was put in as it rotted out sitting in a field for ten years +..The car has a 350 cu, in, engine with a 3 gear auto. There is a small rip in the headliner above the passenger seat, we never had it fixed ..And I think the bucket seats need some fixing. The car has been in car shows and won ..The most miles that my sister put on the car might be 1,000 , including the ride back from Winnipeg when she bought it. It has sat and only taken out in the summer for cruising the odd time.. The car had an after market air conditioned unit in it , that was taken out, my sister might still have it..It was quite the site when we saw the car finished from being what it was green.
